Reports

You can generate reports based on the data collected by ZEN Master. First you create a report configuration in which you define the type of report you would like to generate and specify details such as the degree of granularity, time period and system objects included in the report. You can then generate reports based on the report configuration. Finally, the reports can be downloaded and submitted to the relevant stakeholders.

Reports are generated as .xlsx files, enabling end users to apply analytic tools to derive important insights from the data.

There are three types of reports that can be generated in ZEN Master.

• Usage – this type of reports shows volume of data sent and active time for Sources, Targets and Transcoded Channels during the time period covered by the report. For Transcoded channels, it also shows bytes transcoded. These reports can be helpful for billing your customers based on usage.
• Stats – shows statistics about the performance of your Zixi enabled resources and system objects. For each type of object, the report includes statistics relevant to that type of object.
• Uptime/Outage – shows the times periods that your Sources or Targets were running online. It also shows info about errors that occurred and stream outages (e.g. TR101 and CQA errors). These reports help you to analyze the quality and consistency of video feeds being provided by content suppliers.
