Usage reports show volume of data sent and active time for Sources, Targets and Transcoded Channels during the time period covered by the report. For Transcoded channels, it also shows bytes transcoded.
Usage reports are downloaded as .xls files. Each file contains a separate tab for each type of system usage that is included in the report (i.e. Sources, Targets, Transcoding Usage). There is also an Exceptions tab which shows all object instances included in the report which were not active during the time period of the report.
Each tab includes a report for that type of usage, with the following structure. A single record is shown for each object instance. Each record shows totals for runtime and bytes for the entire time period of the report. In addition, separate columns display runtime and bytes, broken down by units of time at the level of granularity determined by the report configuration. Thus, for example, if a report was generated for the last 7 days with a granularity of one day, then (in addition to the totals) separate values will be given for each of the 7 days.
