Networks
ZEN Master follows the networks in which the various objects reside to understand if a common root cause of an issue is at the network level. For example, if multiple sources originate from the same network and they are experiencing an issue, the root cause of this issue may be at the network level.
The Networks are discovered automatically by ZEN Master using IP-to-location method. A network is defined as an ASN from a specific country and region/state.
This screen required Admin access.
The Networks screen provides details and object states about each network. When a Network is selected, the list pane is minimized and detailed info about the selected Network is shown on the right side of the screen, showing the specific objects that are active on the network.
The main display includes the following data for each Network:
Parameter | Description |
ISP | The name of the Internet Service Provider that hosts the network, as defined in the ASN. |
Region Name | The region of the network, as defined in the ASN. |
Country | The country of the network, as defined in the ASN. |
