Viewing Existing Sources

The Sources screen displays all existing sources, and information about the status and configuration of each source.
The main display includes the following data and actions for each source:
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
Stream | A stream information tree that displays cumulative statistics regarding the stream. |
History | A graphical display of the stream’s performance over time. |
Diagram | A diagram showing the streaming objects in the path. In this case, the diagram displays the Source. Click on the Source name to view its details. |
Analysis | The source's TR101 and Content analysis statistics. |
Health | Graphs that show the health score of the stream over time along with network analysis, connection, and packet timing graphs. |
Incidents | Groups together related errors into incidents to simplify the process of identifying the common root cause. |
Details | Configuration details of the source. |
Events | All the related events that have been generated by the system, such as connections, errors, warnings and disconnections. |
Changes | Displays the history of changes that were made to the object configuration. |
Notes | Free-form text can be added with pertinent information about this Source. |
When a source is selected, the list pane is minimized and detailed info about the selected Receiver is shown on the right side of the screen. The info can be shown in Tab view or Widgets view, see Info Pages.
It is possible to add more columns to the list. If you want to view resources that were marked as Priority, add the Priority column and sort by it.
When a Source is selected, the current data about the Source is displayed in the Info pane. The Info pane displays statistical data about the current state of the Source. Each Source type displays different statistics, see Source Info Pane for more details.
