Linking a Google GCP Account

To create a GCP account and connect it to ZEN follow the procedure shown in the Documentation tab, as described below:

  1. Login to your GCP service accounts console at https://console.cloud.google.com/iam-admin/serviceaccounts.
  2. Click Select a project.

    A window opens showing your projects.
  3. Select a project.
  4. Click on + Create Service Account.

    A Create service account window opens.
  5. In the Name field, enter a name for the account e.g. 'ZEN Master'.
  6. Click Create.
  7. In the Role field, select from the dropdown list Service Account > Service Account User.
  8. Click +Add Another Role.
  9. In the additional Role field, select from the dropdown list Compute Engine > Compute Admin.
  10. Click Continue.
  11. Click + Create Key.

    A Create Key pane opens on the right side of the screen.
  12. Select the JSON radio button (default).
  13. Click Create.
  14. Navigate to the folder where you would like to save the download file and click Save.
  15. In the pop-up notification window, click Close.
  16. In ZEN Master, go to Configuration > Google GCP.
  17. Click + Add Account.
    The Add New GCP Account window is displayed.
  18. In the Name field, enter a name for the account.
  19. Click Choose File.
  20. Navigate to the Key file that you saved from your GCP account and click Open.
  21. The JSON key is added to the New Account window.
  22. Click Save.
    Your GCP account is now linked to ZEN Master. You can now launch Broadcaster Clusters on this GCP account.
