Configuring AWS Account Credentials

Configuring AWS Account Credentials

You can link one or more AWS accounts to ZEN Master. This enables you to launch managed Broadcaster clusters on AWS (including broadcasters that use Nvidia GPU for transcoding). You can also use S3 Bucket storage as publishing targets for storing HLS and DASH manifests and segments. In addition, you can integrate AWS MediaConnect "Flows" into your ZEN Master workflow as Sources or Targets and you can also create new Flows in ZEN Master.

ZEN Master’s AWS IAM policy update

ZEN Master’s AWS IAM policy has been updated and will become REQUIRED in early 2024. The policy change allows ZEN Master to support changes to the AWS instance launch system that will come into effect at the beginning of 2024. Updating the IAM Policy of the AWS account will be required ahead of the Dec. 31st 2023 AWS cutoff date.

The Accounts tab in the AWS Accounts screen shows your existing AWS accounts that are linked to ZEN Master. For each existing configuration, icons at the end of the row enable the following actions: Edit configuration, Delete configuration.

The Documentation tab shows the procedure used for linking an AWS account to ZEN Master.
