The Zixi VLC Plug-In is available for Windows versions 7 and later.  The VLC Media Player is produced and maintained by The VideoLAN project and is compatible with VLC versions 1.0.x, 1.1.x, 2.0.x, 2.1.x, 2.2.x and 3.0. This document is for running the Zixi VLC Plug-In with VLC Version 2.2.1 and later. 

For live stream playback, the plug-in requires an active network connection to a pre-configured Zixi Broadcaster.  Inbound UDP must be enabled from the remote broadcaster source port 2077 to a session based random local port.
