Creating a File Output in Feeder
The File output will output the stream as a file.
To create a File Output:
In the Outputs page of Zixi Feeder, click the + New Output button in the menu bar.
The New output window is displayed:
Type the unique identifier for this output in the Name field.
In the Type field, select File Output.
In the Input Name drop-down list, select the desired input stream.
If the stream is a Multi Program Transport Stream and you want to stream a specific program, select the relevant Program from the drop-down list. Select Original to stream all the programs in the stream.
Within the selected program, you can stream specific PIDs by creating a Filter (see: Adding Filters to Input Stream (PID Filtering) section) and then selecting it from the Filter drop-down list. Select Original to stream all PIDs within the program
In the Group field, verify that No group, which is the default setting, is selected.
Enter the Filename for saving the output file.
Click OK.
The new File Output with its settings is created and now appears in the list of outputs.
