Creating a File Output in Feeder

The File output will output the stream as a file. 

To create a File Output:

  1. In the Outputs page of Zixi Feeder, click the + New Output button in the menu bar. 
    The New output window is displayed:
     
  2. Type the unique identifier for this output in the Name field.
  3. In the Type field, select File Output.
  4. In the Input Name drop-down list, select the desired input stream.  
  5. If you have created a filter, select the desired Program and Filter.
  6. If your deployment includes a DNS Load Balancer, it is possible to group multiple outputs into a single Output Group. All the outputs created in Zixi Feeder within the same group and with the same host name, will be resolved into the same IP address. You can create a new output group or use an existing group. See Output Groups.
  7. Enter the Filename for saving the output file.
  8. Click OK.
    The new File Output with its settings is created and now appears in the list of outputs.

Select the Input which has been previously configured as Input in the Feeder.

If you have created a filter, you can select the relevant program.

Specify the location in which the file will be saved.
