SSH Tunnel in Receiver

SSH (Secure Shell) is a network protocol that allows secure access over an encrypted connection. Reverse SSH is a technique that can be used to access systems (that are behind a firewall) from the outside world.

FieldDescription

Server connection

 

Host

Displays the Host name or IP address for the SSH connection

SSH Port

Displays the port for the SSH connection.

Default:22

Username

Displays the username.
SSH assumes the username on the remote computer is the same as that on the local one.

Key File

Displays the name of the key file.

Clicking Upload Key enables you to select a key file to upload to the server.

Reverse Tunnels

 

Remote Source Port

Displays the remote source port.

Local Destination IP

Displays the IP address of the local destination.

Local Destination Port

Displays the port number of the local destination.

Status

Displays the status of the SSH tunnel.
