ZEC (Zixi Edge Compute) is a standalone application that can:

  • Ingest streams of multiple protocol types and then deliver them to a Zixi Broadcaster (or AWS MediaConnect) via Zixi protocol

  • Ingest streams from a Zixi Broadcaster (or AWS MediaConnect) via Zixi protocol and then output the streams via multiple protocol types.

ZEC is available on Linux (X86 64-bit, ARMv8 64-bit) and Windows (X86 64-bit) and can

be installed either on the same host as Wirecast or on a separate host on the local area network.
