All Networking information that can be set via the front panel can also be set via the Software Web Management GUI, along with global DNS.


ProblemPossible Solution
DHCP IP address does not resolve• Ensure the Ethernet cable is correctly connected to the DHCP NIC
• Reboot the appliance
Static IP set at the front panel is lost after a reboot• Log in to the web management GUI
• Go to the Settings tab
• Select the Network menu item
• Reconfigure your networking configuration and click Apply
• Restart the Zixi Appliance
