Wirecast Zixi ZEC Quick Start Guide Home

Wirecast allows you to stream using multiple live cameras, bring in remote guests and
screenshares, and dynamically mix in other media-like movies, images, and sounds. Easily add
production features such as stinger transitions, instant replay, playlists, built-in titles, chroma
key, virtual sets, live scoreboards and clocks. Wirecast is ideal for broadcasting professional-looking live internet shows, news, online gaming, sporting events, concerts, church services,
corporate meetings, lectures and much more.
Telestream Wirecast integration with the Zixi video delivery platform, enables users to send Zixi
transport streams to any Zixi on-premise platform or cloud-based service. Using the Zixi platform, Wirecast users can dramatically improve the quality of first mile ingest to popular CDNs and for contribution workflows regardless of distance. By centralizing the ingest point of
presence (POP) using the Zixi platform, Wirecast users can have a simple contribution setup for
global event ingest.
Wirecast provides a variety of capture sources (screen, file, webcam, etc.), baseband capture devices, and mezzanine quality NDI network sources.
This guide is an update to a previous guide titled “Wirecast Zixi Integration – Quick Start Guide” and provides updated information on how to configure Telestream Wirecast to contribute video feeds into the Zixi ecosystem using ZEC and replacing the legacy Wirecast Plug-in.
