Adding Input Streams to Receiver
Input streams to the Zixi Receiver can be added using one of the following sources:
- Pull stream – The source is a Zixi Broadcaster. In this case the stream will be protected by the Zixi protocol.
- UDP streams - the source is a UDP or RTP stream, over unicast or multicast.
- File - the source is an MPEG-TS file that is located on the machine.
- Failover – creates a hitless failover group that uses two or more binary-identical streams to ensure an uninterrupted stream.
- HTTP pull - the source is a Transport Stream over HTTP, which is pulled by the Zixi Receiver.
