Adding Input Streams to Feeder

Adding Input Streams to Feeder

You can add input streams to the Zixi Feeder from one of the following sources:

  • UDP streams - the source is a UDP or RTP stream (with or without Forward Error Correction enabled), over unicast or multicast.

  • RTMP streams - the source is an RTMP stream.

  • ASI streams – the source is an ASI stream, which is converted into IP-MPEG-TS stream before it is inputted into the Zixi Feeder.

  • File -  the source is an MPEG-TS file that is located on the machine.

  • HTTP pull – the source is a Transport Stream over HTTP, which is pulled by the Zixi Feeder.

  • Failover - creates a hitless failover group that uses two or more binary-identical sources to ensure an uninterrupted stream.
