For Broadcaster (v13 and up) streams, the estimated Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (ePSNR) is shown on a heat map. The heat map shows ePSNR values for the video PID. If there are multiple video PIDs available in the Source content, this graph only shows data for the first video PID found in the Source content.
Each vertical column in this graph represents a histogram of the ePSNR values of all video frames over a 10 minute window. The scale for the ePSNR is shown along the left side of the graph. Values can range from 11 to 60, with 60 representing the highest quality. The color of each cell represents the number of frames at that ePSNR value at that point in time, with blue representing a low number and red representing a high number. So that, a high encoding quality video Source will produce a heat map with red colored cells across the higher end of the scale.
ePSNR analysis is supported for MPEG2 or H.264 content, but not for most types of HEVC/H.265 content. Also, Sources must be 8-bit (not HDR) and Progressive (not Interlaced).
