Adding a Pull Target

To add a new Pull Target:

1. In the main navigation, click Targets.
2. Click + Add.
   The Target Type Selection window is displayed.
   
3. Click on Pull.
   The Target configuration window is displayed.
   
4. In the Name field, enter a logical name for the Pull Target.
5. In the Access Tag field, for the current use case select Default from the drop-down list. To learn more about using Access Tags to control access to resources see Zen Master User Guide.

6. In the Channel field, select from the drop-down list the channel that will be streamed to the Zixi Receiver. (optional field)

   You can assign a channel to the target after the initial configuration.

7. In the Device section select the device type of the Pull Target. The current use case involves creation of a Receiver Pull Target device.

8. In the Receiver field, select a Zixi Receiver from the drop-down list.

9. In the Receiver Output field, select a pre-defined named output from the drop-down list.
10. In the Password field, enter a password for accessing the stream OR click RND to generate a random password. (optional field)
11. In the Encryption section, if you would like to encrypt the stream, select one of the encryption methods. Options are: AES 128, AES 192 or AES 256. By default, the encryption is disabled.
12. If Encryption was selected, in the Encryption Key field, enter an encryption key that will be used to encrypt the connection OR click RND to generate a random encryption key.
13. Click Save.
