The File output will output the stream as a file.

- In the Outputs page of Zixi Feeder, click the + New Output button in the menu bar.
The New output window is displayed:
- Type the unique identifier for this output in the Name field.
- In the Type field, select File Output.
- In the Input Name drop-down list, select the desired input stream.
- If you have created a filterthe stream is a Multi Program Transport Stream and you want to stream a specific program, select the desired Program and Filter.If your deployment includes a DNS Load Balancer, it is possible to group multiple outputs into a single Output Group. All the outputs created in Zixi Feeder within the same group and with the same host name, will be resolved into the same IP address. You can create a new output group or use an existing group. See Output Groups.relevant Program from the drop-down list. Select Original to stream all the programs in the stream.
- Within the selected program, you can stream specific PIDs by creating a Filter (see: Adding Filters to Input Stream (PID Filtering) section) and then selecting it from the Filter drop-down list. Select Original to stream all PIDs within the program
- In the Group field, verify that No group, which is the default setting, is selected.
- Enter the Filename for saving the output file.
- Click OK.
The new File Output with its settings is created and now appears in the list of outputs.
