This sections quick start provides basic instructions on how to connect your OnAir app to stream a Zixi Broadcaster and start streaming video from -protocol video using your device. You will need to know the following info in order to configure your OnAir settings^[1]:

• The Hostname or IP address of the Zixi Broadcaster^[2]
• The protocol being used (Zixi Push or RTMP)
• The Channel ID (If the Manual Method was used, then this must be identical to the Stream ID configured in the broadcaster. If the Automatic Method was used, then you can enter any Channel ID that you like and this will be shown as the Stream ID when the Input is created in the broadcaster.)
• The Password (if one was used)    

[1] If you did not configure the Zixi Broadcaster yourself, then you must obtain this info from the Zixi Administrator who configured the broadcaster.

[2] It is also possible to send the stream to an external RTMP server. To do so, enter the URL of the server, and the Username and Password of your account's camera.

To stream a video using your device's camera:

1. Ensure you have a Wi-Fi/cellular connection to the internet.
2. Ensure you have created a Push Input in Zixi Broadcaster.
3. Open the Zixi OnAir app.
4. Tap Allow to allow Zixi OnAir to record audio and video.
   The Settings screen is displayed.
5. In the Broadcaster Namefield, enter the Name or IP Address of the target Broadcaster. 
6. In the Channel Namefield, enter the name of the Input that you have setup on the target Broadcaster.  
7. Tap Save.
8. Tap the Green circle (Shoot button) on the right-hand side to stream live video to your target Broadcaster.
