Creating a UDP Output in Feeder
The UDP output outputs the stream in UDP or RTP format over unicast or multicast
To Create a UDP Output:
- On the Outputs screen of ZiXi Feeder, click  on the upper- right end corner of the screen.
The New output window is displayed: - Type in the unique identifier for this output in the Name field.
- From the Type drop-down list, select UDP Output.
- From the Input Name drop-down list, select the desired input stream.
- If you have created a filter, select the desired Program and Filter.
- Specify the Properties (see table below for additional parameters).
- If your deployment includes a DNS Load Balancer, it is possible to group multiple outputs into a single Output Group. All the outputs created in Zixi Feeder within the same group and with the same host name, will be resolved into the same IP address. You can Create a New Output Group or Use an Existing Output Group.
- In the Host field, specify the IP address of the stream destination.
- In the Port field, specify the port of the destination.
- In the NIC field, select the network card from which the stream will be transmitted.
- Click OK.
The new UDP Output with its settings is created and now appears on the Outputs screen.
