Output Groups

For deployments that include a DNS Load Balancer, it is possible to group multiple outputs into a single Output Group. All the outputs created in Zixi Feeder within the same group and with the same host name, will be resolved into the same IP address (i.e. the same Zixi Broadcaster). This feature can be used to ensure all adaptive streams will be delivered to the same machine (i.e. resolved to the same destination IP address).
