This quick start guide demonstrates a basic use case for transmitting a video file throughout the components of the Zixi SDVP. In this example, an MPEG-TS file is streamed from a Zixi Feeder to a Zixi Broadcaster and on to a Zixi Receiver without applying any additional processing or advanced configuration options.

As part of the configuration of the components, you will use the following inputs/outputs types:

  • Zixi Feeder

    • Input: File

    • Output: Push

  • Zixi Broadcaster

    • Input: Push

    • Output: Pull

  • Zixi Receiver

    • Input: Pull

    • Output: UDP
