Cloning a Transcoding Profile

If you would like to create a new Transcoding Profile with properties similar to those of an existing profile, you can use the Clone feature to simplify the process.

To Clone a Transcoding Profile:

  1. In the main navigation, click Transformations > Transcoding Profiles.
  2. Select the profile that you would like to Clone (i.e. the profile that is already configured in ZEN Master which has settings similar to those that you would like to set for the new profile that you are creating).
  3. Click Clone.
  4. The Clone Transcoding Profile window is displayed with all fields other than Name populated with the configuration data of the original profile.
  5. In the Name field, enter the name of the new profile.
  6. Change any of the fields that you would like to configure differently than the original profile, see Adding Transcoding Profiles.
  7. Click Save.
    The new profile is created.
