Creating an Incident Manually

To create an Incident:

  1. In the main navigation, click Zixi Edge Device/Broadcasters/Sources/Targets.
  2. In the History section of the desired source or target, click  on the graph to select a specific time period.
  3. Click the Open Incident button.

    The Open Incident window is shown.
  4. In the Add To section, select whether this is a New incident, or if you are adding to an Existing
  5. For an existing incident, in the Incident field, select the name of the incident to which you are adding this selection.
  6. For a new incident, in the Incident Name field, enter a name for the incident and select a Root Cause from the dropdown menu. The following options are available:
    • Server network - the network where the Broadcaster resides.
    • Client network - the network where the Target or Source resides.
    • Broadcaster - indicates that although this is not a network related incident, a Broadcaster may be the root cause of the incident.
    • Performance – the incident is related to performance issues.
    • Other - the incident is related to other issues.
  7. Click Save and then click Close in the confirmation window.
