Adding Analysis to an Input Stream

A TR 101 290 analysis can be added to the input stream for monitoring the TS while in operation. The analysis can be used to check the integrity of the TS and the most important elements of the stream. The analysis includes priority 1 and 2.

To Start Analysis of the Input Stream:

  1. In the Zixi MediaConnect Feeder Inputs page, click the menu button  for the incoming stream that you want to analyze.

  2. In the drop-down menu, click Analyze. The statuses of a P1 (priority-1 errors) and P2 (priority-2 errors) are indicated by an adjacent green or red button displayed in the Analyzer column. A green notification temporarily appears on the top of the screen.

You can view the detailed analysis by clicking on the adjacent  stethoscope icon. The Stream Analysis screen is displayed:    

The following actions can be done on the Stream Analysis screen:

  • Refresh – refreshes the data that is displayed.

  • Reset – resets all the field’s values to zero.

Clicking Stop Analysis in the drop-down menu discontinues the analysis.
