Broadcaster clusters are groups of Zixi Broadcasters that perform one or more tasks. This allows efficient management of resources and ensures performance and availability of resources. Broadcaster clusters are used to perform the following tasks:
Ingest – configure inputs and make them available as Sources in ZEN Master.
Channel Processing – processes Sources and/or sends them to specified Targets.
Each Broadcaster cluster can be used to perform multiple tasks of various types (i.e. Ingest and also Channel Processing).
