To Add UDP Output:

  1. On the Inputs page of ZiXi Feeder, click the desired row of the incoming stream to which you want to add new output.
  2. Click  button on the right end of the selected row and click New Output.
    The New output window with the settings of the selected input stream is displayed. You can modify any of these settings.
  3. Enter the unique Name that you want to configure on the Feeder.
  4. Select UDP Output as the Type of output.
  5. Enter the Input parameters (see table below for additional parameters).
  6. Designate the Properties’ Path.
  7. Click OK. The New Output with its new settings takes effect.
ParameterDescription
NameSpecifies the unique name of the stream.

Type

Specifies what kind of activity is being performed on the stream.

Input 

Input Name

Specify the unique Stream ID that the remote receiver expects. Must be identical to the one on the Broadcaster.

Note: The drop-down list consists of all those previously configured inputs on the Feeder

Program

If you have created a filter, you can select the relevant program

Filter

If you have created a filter, you can select the relevant filter

Properties 

Host

Specifies the IP address of the stream destination.

Port

Specifies the ports to listen on for the output streams.

Smoothing

Enables transmission of the output at the correct rate. Required when the receiving device is sensitive and can’t lock on to the stream (in such a case, the recommended latency is 100 - 1000 ms).

NIC

Specifies the Network card used.

TTL

Specifies the network Time-to-Live parameter
