Before playing back a stream you will need to add the stream to the Zixi Player. Encrypted and password protected streams can be decrypted/accessed using the Zixi Player.
→ To add Zixi Player can playback Zixi Transport Protocol streams that have been added to the player (see - Adding a video stream section). Video streams using Zixi-protocol will be protected by the Zixi protocol, a resilient congestion and network-aware protocol that adjusts to varying network conditions and employs patented, dynamic Forward Error Correction techniques for error-free video transport over IP with 99.9999% uptime at minimal latency.
→ To playback a video stream:

In the Name field, enter a name for the stream. This is an internal name for the application only, so it does not have to match the name of the stream in the Zixi Broadcaster.
In the URL field, enter the full URL path of the stream. The app will use the URL to pull the stream.
If the stream is password-protected, enter the password in the Password field.
If the stream is encrypted, enter the decryption key in the Decryption Key field.
In the Latency field, enter the desired latency in milliseconds. Latency creates a buffer for improved performance. Higher latency may be required when the network experiences high packet loss percentage and high jitter. This setting affects memory usage as higher levels of protection require more buffering. Default: 2000 ms.
Tap the Save icon at the top.
