The main display view includes the following data and actions for each channel:

It is possible to add more columns to the list. If you want to view resources that were marked as Priority, add the Priority column and sort by it. |
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
Name | The name of the Channel. |
Status | Shows the status of the Channel. Possible statuses are:
The icon next to a channel indicates that the Channel is muted, disabling notifications for error/recovery events. |
Proc. Cluster | The name of the Channel Processing cluster that is used for the Channel. |
Broadcaster | The name of the Broadcaster that is used for the Channel. |
Sources | The number of Sources assigned to the Channel and their statuses. For single Source Channels the name of the Source is displayed. |
Type | The type of Channel, possible types are:

Targets | The number of output Targets and their statuses. |
When a Channel is selected, the current data about the Channel is displayed in the Info pane. The Info pane displays statistical data about the current state of the Channel. Each Channel type displays different statistics, see Channel Info Pane for more details.

When a channel is selected, the following sections are shown in the Info pane:
- Details – configuration details of the selected Channel.
- Diagram – This tab shows a schematic diagram of the system elements associated with the Channel.
- Bitrates (for Adaptive and Transcoded channels) – shows details about the Sources/transcoding profiles that are used and their bitrates.
- Sources – shows the thumbnails of the Sources that are associated with the selected Channel. For more information, see Viewing Thumbnail Grid Display.
- Content Analysis – Shows a list of streaming errors that occurred on this Channel.
- History – The History section shows a graphic display of the Channel's activity and performance over time.
- Targets – Shows data about Targets that receive the selected Channel. You can also add Targets to a Channel on this tab.
- Events – all the related events that have been generated by the system, such as connections, errors, warnings and disconnections. To learn about the data that is displayed in the Events tab see Events. Click Quick Report to generate a report of events related to this Source and download the .xls file.
- Change Tracking– Change Tracking displays the history of changes that were made to the Source’s configuration. For more information, see Change Tracking.
- Notes – free-form text can be added with pertinent information about this Channel.
