To Create a UDP Output:

  1. On the Outputs screen of ZiXi Feeder, click  Image Added on the upper- right end corner of the screen.
    The New output window is displayed:

  2. Type in the unique identifier for this output in the Name field.
  3. From the Type drop-down list, select UDP Output.
  4. From the Input Name drop-down list, select the desired input stream.
  5. If you have created a filter, select the desired Program and Filter.
  6. Specify the Properties (see table below for additional parameters).
  7. In the Host field, specify the IP address of the stream destination.
  8. In the Port field, specify the port of the destination.
  9. In the NIC field, select the network card from which the stream will be transmitted.
  10. Click OK.
    The new UDP Output with its settings is created and now appears on the Outputs screen.

Input Name

Choose the input name from the drop-down list, whichconsists of all the previously configured inputs on the Feeder

If you have created a filter, you can select the relevant program

Properties
 

Host

Specifies the IP address of the stream destination.

Port

Specifies the port of the stream destination.

Smoothing

Enables transmission of the output at the correct rate. Required when the receiving device is sensitive and can’t lock on to the stream (in such a case, the recommended latency is 100 - 1000 ms).

NIC

Specifies the Network card used.

TTL

Specifies the network Time-to-Live parameter
