The Transcoding Profiles screen displays all existing transcoding profiles and details about their configuration. When a profile is selected, the details of that profile are shown on the bottom of the screen.
The main display includes the following data for each Transcoding Profile:

Encoding profile
The encoding configuration type, options are:
Main
Baseline
High
Resolution
The video resolution settings.
FPS
The frame rate. Frames per second.
GOP
The number of frames in a GOP (Group of Pictures)
Closed GOP
Indicates whether or not the GOP is closed (i.e don't receive data from the subsequent GOP for bidirectional coding).
Fixed GOP
Indicates whether or not the GOP is fixed (i.e. whether the GOP always contains the specified number of frames).
Av. Video Bitrate
The Average bitrate for the profile.
Max Video Bitrate
The Maximum bitrate for the profile.
Performance
The performance of the transcoding ranging from 1 (Fastest) to the 7 (Best Quality), with 4 (Balanced) in the middle.
B Frames
The maximal number of consecutive B frames in the GOP.
Reference Frames
The number of frames that can be referenced for each frame.
HRD Buffer
The length of the HRD buffer in MPEG-2.
Audio
The audio transcoding settings.
For profiles that include audio transcoding, the following parameters are shown.
