Cloning a Channel

If you would like to create a new Channel with properties similar to those of an existing Channel, you can use the Clone feature to simplify the process.

To Clone a Channel:

1. In the main navigation, click Channels.
2. Select the Channel that you would like to Clone (i.e. the Channel that is already configured in ZEN Master which has settings similar to those that you would like to set for the new Channel that you are creating).
3. Click Clone.
   The Add New Channel window is displayed with all fields other than Name populated with the configuration data of the original Channel.
4. In the Name field, enter the name of the new Channel.
5. Change any of the fields that you would like to configure differently than the original Channel. See the above sections that describe how to create new Channels of various types.
6. Click Save.
   The Channel is created.
