Connecting a Stream from a Zixi-Enabled Device (Encoder UI)

After adding the Other Enabled Device Source, you will need to configure a stream on the encoder. The UI structure varies for different Zixi-enabled encoders, however the following settings should be configured to connect to ZEN Master.
To connect a Zixi-enabled encoder:
- In ZEN Master, in the main navigation, click Sources.
- Select the relevant source from the list of Sources.
- On the top menu click the More Actions menu and select Config.
The configuration details of the Source are displayed and can be copied/sent to be inputted as the stream configuration at the Zixi-enabled Device side.
This configuration contains specific configuration settings for the selected Source. Use the values shown for the following parameters to configure the stream on the Zixi Enabled encoder:
Parameter | Description |

Host | The IP address/URL of the Ingest Cluster. |
Port | The port that has been configured in ZEN Master. |
Stream ID | The stream name. The Stream ID on the Zixi-enabled device should match this ID. |
Password | The access password that has been configured in ZEN Master. To view the password, click Show. To copy the password, click Copy. |
