Moving Map Markers

Markers representing their respective objects are placed on the Map automatically according to the geolocation of the IP address. Resources for which no geolocation ifo is available are positioned in the default region. You can override the automatic positioning and configure the location manually as desired.

A list of all markers with no saved location can be displayed by clicking on the Show Unsaved Markers button. Once you have manually enters a location for a resource, it is removed from the list. 

To move object markers:

1. In the Map display, click Move Markers. Then, do one of the following procedures:

   • Drag the object markers and drop them on the desired location.

     Alternatively, you can press the ctrl button on your keyboard and drag the markers to the desired position.

   • Or, specify the location based on street address, zip code, or coordinates using the following procedure:
     1. Click on the desired object marker.
        The object details panel opens on the left side of the screen.
        
        
        
     2. Click Move Marker in the left panel.
     3. In the search field, enter the desired address, zip code or location coordinates.
        Search results are displayed below the search box as you type.
     4. Click on the desired location.
2. Click Save.
