Adding an RTSP Stream to MediaConnect Feeder

This enables the Zixi MediaConnect Feeder to receive an RTMP stream. The stream can be UDP or TCP.

To Add an RTSP Stream:

1. In the Zixi MediaConnect Feeder Inputs page, click the + New Input button in the Menu bar.
   The Add Input window is displayed:

2. Enter the unique Stream ID (an internal name).

3. Select RTMP for the Input Source.

4. Do one of the following:

   • If the stream is TCP – select the TCP checkbox (default)

   • If the stream is UDP – deselect the TCP checkbox.

5. Specify the additional Stream Parameters (see Input Stream Parameters Table).

6. If you want to configure the Recording Parameters, specify them in the respective fields (see Input Stream Parameters Table).

7. Click OK.
   The “Input added” message appears on the top of the screen.
   The RTSP Stream is added to the Zixi MediaConnect Feeder and now appears in the list of streams available in the Inputs screen.
