Using the Zixi Video Acceleration Proxy for previewing a stream

The Zixi Video Acceleration Proxy can be used for previewing a stream through a video player. The locally installed Proxy can be accessed through the following IP address – 127.0.0.1.

The following URL - 127.0.0.1:4500/version.json will provide a response that includes the version and build numbers of the Proxy

To playback a stream using the Zixi Video Acceleration Proxy:

  1. In a web-connected video player, enter the following network URL: http://127.0.0.1:4500/?url=<broadcaster_ip>:2077/<stream_name>.
    The video will be streamed to the player through the locally installed Proxy.
