Feeder General Settings
The General Settings screen includes basic configuration parameters for the server including the server’s ID, access ports, authorizations, security, and storage.
Note:Â If you make changes to the settings, you must click Apply to save the changes before navigating away from the page.
The Parameters shown in the General Settings are described in the table below:
Field | Description |

ID | The unique (alphanumeric) name of the Zixi Feeder server. Typically: host name. |
Web Server Port | The port number of the web-based administration. You can configure this parameter to any legal port number which is supported by your Firewall. Default: 4200 |
 NIC | The server’s Network Card ID. Defaut: Any |
Password | The password of the administrator. |
Root Folder | Displays the configured root folder. You can modify the root folder in the demuxer-private-settings.xml, , which is located in the Feeder installation folder. |
Enable HTTPS | Enables secure HTTPS connection to the server. Enabling HTTPS requires the relevant certificates and private keys. |
HTTPS certificate uploaded | Indicates if a certificate has been uploaded. Click Upload to upload the HTTPS certificate. |
HTTPS private key uploaded | Indicates if the private key has been uploaded. Click Upload to upload the private key. |
HTTPS private key passphrase | Enter the private key passphrase. |
