The General Settings screen includes basic configuration parameters for the server including the server’s ID, access ports, authorizations, security, and storage.

ID | The unique (alphanumeric) name of the ZiXi Feeder server. Typically: host name. |
Web Server Port | The port number of the web server administration. You can configure this parameter to any legal port number which is supported by your Firewall. Default: 4200 |
NIC | The server’s Network Card ID. Defaut: Any |
Password | The password of the administrator. |
| Root Folder | Displays the configured root folder. You can modify the root folder in the demuxer-private-settings.xml. |
| Enable HTTPS | Enables secure HTTPS connection to the server. Enabling HTTPS requires the relevant certificates and private keys. |
| HTTPS certificate uploaded | Specifies if a certificate has been uploaded. Click Upload to upload the HTTPS certificate. |
| HTTPS private key uploaded | Specifies if the private key has been uploaded. Click Upload to upload the private key |
| HTTPS private key passphrase | Enter the private key passphrase |
