Windows Installation

The following installation assumes that you have physically installed the ASI card in the machine. The download link and driver version may change. Check the current link and version number before proceeding. The Windows SDK includes the setup/installation program.

To install the DekTec ASI card on Windows:

1. Download the Windows SDK: https://www.dektec.com/products/SDK/DTAPI/Downloads/WinSDK_v2019.07.1.zip

2. Extract the ZIP file.

3. Run the following setup program: DekTec SDK - Windows Setup.exe.
   The Setup Wizard opens:
   

   

4. Click Next.
   The license agreement screen is displayed:
   

   

5. Select the relevant option and click Next.
   The Customer Information screen is displayed:
   

   

6. Enter the User Name and the name of your organization and click Next.
   The Destination Folder screen is displayed.
   

   

7. Click Next to install in the displayed folder or click Change to install in a different folder.
   The Setup Type screen is displayed:
   

   

8. Select Complete to install all the components and click Next to continue.
   The final screen is displayed:
   

   

9. Click Install to begin installation.
