The following is a brief description of the sections that are shown:
Incidents–
Details - shows details about the broadcaster (e.g. IP, Host ID, Version etc.) as well as its status and license status. It also shows details about the protocol and ports used by the Broadcaster. If there is a configuration error then click the Update Configuration button to automatically update the configuration settings. This may require a restart of the Broadcaster.
Events – shows all events related to this Broadcaster that have been generated by the system, such as connections, errors, warnings and disconnections. To learn about the data that is displayed in the Events tab see Events. Click Quick Report to generate a report of events related to this Channel and download the .xls file.
Info Pane includes the following details:
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
CPU | The CPU utilization rate. |
RAM | The memory utilization rate. |
HDD | The Hard Drive utilization rate. |
In Bitrate | The inbound bitrate |
Out Bitrate | The outbound bitrate |
Inputs | The number of inputs |
Adaptive | The number of adaptive streams |
Outputs | The number of outputs |
Uptime | The time period that the Broadcaster has been online. |
Public IP | The public IP address of the Broadcaster. Click the copy icon to copy the details. |
Version | The software version of the Broadcaster. Click the copy icon to copy the details. |
AgentZ | Indicates whether AgentZ has been installed for this Broadcaster. Agent Z is a Sidecar tool that sits on a Zixi Broadcaster, it acquires the system health data and other statistics locally and pushes it to ZEN Master. By enabling this option, ZEN Master will automatically install AgentZ on any existing and future Broadcasters connected to the Cluster. The feature is off by default. Due to AgentZ installation requiring a restart, ZEN Master will not auto-install AgentZ on a Broadcaster that already contains any inputs to avoid disturbing active streams. |
Open | Click to access the Zixi Broadcaster UI. |
Location | The location of the Broadcaster. By default, the location is determined automatically based on the Broadcaster's IP. However it is possible to specify another location during configuration. |
Network | The Network in which the Broadcaster is located. The Networks are discovered automatically by ZEN Master using IP-to-location method. A network is defined as an ASN from a specific country and region/state. |
The following is a brief description of the sections that are shown:
History - shows a graphical representation of the system usage over time. If you see an issue and want to open an Incident for further examination, click the Open Incident button and follow the instructions in Creating an Incident Manually. The following graphs are shown.
System - shows system performance metrics over time. For broadcasters that are using NVIDIA GPU for transcoding, the History graph shows the GPU usage of the encoder pipeline, decoder pipeline and CUDA pipeline. The GPU memory consumption is also shown.
Network – shows the send and receive bitrates over time.
UDP Statistics - shows a graphical representation of the UDP Receive Errors that occurred over time. (This is helpful for isolating errors that occurred on the broadcaster itself from errors that occurred in the network).
