- In the Zixi Feeder Inputs page, click the menu Actions button for the incoming stream for which you want to configure an output.
- In the drop-down menu, click New Output.
The New output window with the settings of the selected input stream is displayed. You can modify any of these settings. - Enter the unique Name that you want to configure on the Feeder.
- Select UDP Output as the Type of output.
- Enter the Input parameters (see Output Parameters Table below for additional parameters).
- If your deployment includes a DNS Load Balancer, it is possible to group multiple outputs into a single Output Group. All the outputs created in Zixi Feeder within the same group and with the same host name, will be resolved into the same IP address. You can create a new output group or use an existing output group. See Output Groups.you would like to add this stream to an Output Group, select an existing Group from the dropdown list OR create a new group by clicking .(see Output Parameters Table below for additional details).
- In the Host field, specify the IP address of the stream destination.
- In the Port field, specify the port of the destination.
- In the NIC field, select the network card from which the stream will be transmitted.
- Click OK.
The new UDP Output with its settings is created and now appears on the Outputs screen.

Smoothing | Enables transmission of the output at the correct rate. Required when the receiving device is sensitive and can’t lock on to the stream (in such a case, the recommended latency is 100 - 1000 ms). |
