The Targets screen displays all existing Targets, and information about the status and configuration of each Target.

It is possible to add more columns to the list. If you want to view resources that were marked as Priority, add the Priority column and sort by it. 

When a Target is selected, the list pane is minimized and detailed info about the selected Target is shown on the right side of the screen. The info can be shown in Tab Panels view or Accordion Tabs view, see Info Pages.

When a Target is selected, the following tabs are shown at the right side of the screen:

  • Details – configuration details of the selected Target.
  • Diagram – This tab shows a schematic diagram of the system elements associated with the Target.
  • History – a graphical display of the stream’s performance over time.
  • Events - all the related events that have been generated by the system, such as connections, errors, warnings and disconnections. To learn about the data that is displayed in the Events tab see Events. Click Quick Report to generate a report of events related to this Source and download the .xls file. 
  • Change Tracking - displays the history of changes that were made to the object configuration.
  • Configuration (for Pull Targets)– configuration settings for connecting unmanaged resources to be used as Pull Targets.
  • Notes – free-form text can be added with pertinent information about this Target.
  • Incidents – groups together related errors into incidents to simplify the process of identifying the common root cause.
  • Traceroute – shows the traceroutes used by the stream.


The main display includes the following data for each Target:

Selection Checkbox

Select one or more Targets and perform actions on all selected Targets. Available actions are:

  • Mute All - disables notification for error/recovery events for the selected Targets.
  • Unmute All - enables notification for error/recovery events for the selected Targets.
  • Switch Channel – switch - switch the Channel that is assigned to the selected Targets. If no Channel has been assigned yet, then this button is used to assign a Channel.
  • Mute All - disables notification for error/recovery events for the selected Targets.
  • Unmute All – enables notification for error/recovery events for the selected Targets.
  • Enable All – reGo to Alternative -
  • Edit enables you to edit the Target configuration.
  • Clone create an additional Target based on the settings of the selected Target.
  • Enable All - re-activates all active streams for the selected Targets.
  • Disable All - stops  stops all active streams to that Target without deleting the configuration of the Target.
  • Delete All – deletes - deletes the Target configuration for the selected Target.

Name

The name of the Target as configured in ZEN Master.

Status

The status of the Target. Possible values:

  • Green – OK
  • Red – error state
  • Pink (shown together with a checkmark) – acknowledged error state
  • Yellow – Warning (recovered from error event)
  • Gray – pending/disabledNot Assigned

The icon next to a Target indicates that the Target is muted, disabling notifications for error/recovery events.

The Image Added icon  next to the Target indicates that the Channel is Disabled.

BroadcasterThe name of the Broadcaster that is used for the Target.

Type

The Target type. Possible types are: Push, Pull, RTMP, S3, HTTP or UDP/RTP.

TargetThe type of Target. Possible types are: Push, Pull, RTMP, S3, HTTP or UDP/RTP.

Client IP

The client IP of the Target. 

BitrateThe current bitrate of the Source.
UptimeFor online Sources, shows the number of hours, minutes and seconds that the Source has been online.

Channel

The name of the Channel that uses this Target as a destination for the stream.

Channel TypeSelect the type of Channel to which you would like to add Targets. Options are: Adaptive Channel, Pass-Through Channel or MediaConnect Flow.
