Insights is an add-on feature that is licensed separately, and it is not shown in standard ZEN Master accounts.

Insights are a set of graphs in ZEN Master that leverage our Intelligent Data Platform (IDP) to show a visualization that enables you to identify outliers and likely areas of instability in your system. These graphs make it easy to compare different workflows, showing you where you need to focus your attention. Graphs show metrics related to packet recovery as well as other Broadcaster KPIs such as CPU and memory usage.

InfoInsights are shown only for Sources that use Zixi protocol.

Insights graphs are shown for Broadcaster Clusters and Broadcasters and for Channels and are accessed by clicking the Insights button on the Broadcaster and Channels screens respectively.

There are two types of graphs:

  • Network - These graphs show an indication of the quality of your network connections as well as the effectiveness of Zixi at recovering lost packets. They are available for Broadcasters and Channels and you can drill down to show graphs for specific Sources and Targets.
    • KPIs - These graphs show KPIs for the performance of each object such as CPU and memory usage. They are available for Broadcasters as well as for Sources and Targets in a Channel

    , for Sources, and for Targets by clicking the Insights button after selecting the desired resource. Selecting multiple resources (e.g., multiple Sources) and clicking Insights button, displays their metrics on a single panel allowing comparison and easy identification of outliers.

    Non-Zixi protocols may display fewer datapoints and graphs depending on availability.
