Confluence Administrators can also make templates that are available across your whole Confluence instance.

Zixi v1.10 is packed with new features and enhancements across the entire platform and for specific components.

Rules Templates

The new version offers efficiency enhancements by enabling the definition of pre-defined templates for handling the configuration of streams:

  • Adaptive Groups Templates: you can now define templates with rules for automatic grouping of streams in adaptive groups. Every time a new input stream, which matches the conditions of the template, is added, it will be automatically added to the adaptive group that was defined in the template. Specific streams are identified by naming patterns and added to the group by setting static naming patterns and bitrates or dynamic patters.
  • Transcoding Templates: you can now define templates with rules for automatic transcoding of input streams. Every time a new input stream, which matches the conditions of the template, is added, it will be automatically transcoded according to the transcoding settings defined in the specific template. The streams are identified by naming patterns, which are part of the template.
  • Output Templates: automatic creation of output streams when an input matches the naming patterns defined in an Output Template. The template includes an input pattern for the identification of the input and output parameters. Every time a new input stream, which matches the conditions of the template, is added, an output with the conditions of the input is created and assigned to the input.

Additional General Features

  • IPv6 support: Zixi now supports IPv6. You can now use IPv6 addresses in the same way as IPv4 addresses.
  • More efficient encryption/decryption: the encryption and decryption process have been enhanced with additional efficiencies. This means that the CPU utilization is lower when performing these processes.
