Page Comparison

To play a Zixi-enabled stream:

1. Open VLC Player

2. On the Main Menu, click Media. 
   Sub-menu options are displayed. 

3. Click Open Network Stream.
4. In the URL field, enter a Zixi stream URL, which  which includes the Zixi Broadcaster details and channel name, provided by your administrator (e.g. following structure:
   
   1. Zixi://<IP_Address_OR_FQDN_Of Zixi_Broadcaster>:<Output Port>/<channel name>
   2. For example:  zixi://demo.zixi.com:2077/

5. Click Play.
