This enables pulling a Zixi transport stream from a Zixi Broadcaster. The output stream is configured automatically in the Zixi Broadcaster.

Parameter | Description |

Input Name | Specify the unique Input Name (an internal name) for the Receiver. |
Host | Specify the source hostname or IP address of the stream. Optional - If you would like to add an Alternative host (as a backup), click '+' next to the Host field. |
+ Alt. Host | In the Alt. Host field specify a backup URL (similar to the primary URL). In case the primary host is faulty, Zixi Receiver will switch and pull the stream from the alternative host. |
Port | Specify the connection port of the host. Default: 2077. |
Stream | Specify the input stream name as it is defined in the Zixi Broadcaster (source). |
Password (optional) | If desired, enter the string for authentication. It must be identical to the string configured on the source Zixi Broadcaster. |
Latency [ms] | Latency creates a buffer for improved performance. Higher latency may be required when the network experiences high packet loss percentage and high jitter. This setting affects memory usage as higher levels of protection require more buffering. Default: 8000. |
Local Interface | Specify the local IP address that will be used for the connection with the Zixi Broadcaster. Or select Any to enable connecting through any available IP address. |
Min. Bitrate [kbps] | Specify the minimum bitrate for the connected input stream. |
Ignore TLS certificate | Click this checkbox to Ignore TLS certificate errors for this stream. |
Decryption type | Specify the type of encryption .used in the stream |
Decryption keyDecryption | key for the end-user to decipher Enter the decryption key to decrypt the the received encoded stream. |
