To install Zixi VLC plug-in, you must first download and install the VLC player.
To download and install VLC Player:
- Download the VLC player from the following URL - http://www.videolan.org/vlc/#download Note: The -win32- VLC plug-in only works with 32-bit VLC. A plug-in for 64-bit VLC is not currently available.
Run installer and follow the default Installation settings
To install the Zixi VLC Plug-in
Ensure that VLC is not running before installing the Zixi VLC Plug-In
Double click the Zixi VLC plug-In executable (e.g. zixi_vlc_plugin-win32-1.9.0.21770.exe)
The setup wizard automatically installs and configures the Zixi VLC Plug-In
Click ‘Close’ when the setup wizard completes
