The incident detail’s view displays, on the left pane, a list of objects that were involved in the incident and on the right pane, the details of the incident, notes, and aggregated history and events related to the selected objects. By default, all objects are selected, however it is possible to deselect/select specific objects. The History and Events panes will be updated accordingly.   

The screen includes the following elements:

  • Incident name - The name of the incident. The name can be edited. By default, if the incident was automatically created, the name will include the following structure - <root_cause_category> <identifier> 

  • Selected objects – list of all the objects that were selected.

  • Objects related to the incident – list of all the objects that were involved in the incident. Select/deselect the desired object to be included in the History/Events panes. Each object includes the following information:

    • Object – the name of the object and the following indications:

      • Status - For target - OK, Error, Channel Disabled

      • Muted/unmuted

      • Object type label - T-target; S-Source; B-Broadcaster.

    • Active Broadcaster - The Broadcaster to which the object is connected.

    • Client Network - The name of the ASN related to the object’s IP address.

    • Diagram - click the icon to open the blast radius channel diagram, which displays the object in the context of its channel, while color coding the objects that were involved in the incident. Objects that experienced warning during the date range are colored in orange; Errors in red; No errors or warnings in green. See Viewing the Object Diagram.

  • Root cause notice - in case of an auto-generated incident, this notice includes the reason for generating the event. It includes the following structure:

  • The name of the root cause category.

  • An indication of the number of components in the network that have experienced error events/unrecovered packets events around the same time.

  • The name of the network these objects share.

    From the main Incidents screen, click the incident to view the incident’s details screen. The incident details screen has two views:

    • Graphs view – displays various graphs of the selected sources over the selected time range.

    • Events view – displays the details of the incident-related events within the selected time range.
