Content Comparison

Zixi enables secure encrypted communication between the Zixi Broadcaster and the various end-points using HTTPS, based on SSL certificates. To enable HTTPS communications, you first need to create an SSL certificate and private key for your secure connections.

To enable HTTS and upload SSL certificate:

1. Go to Settings > General.
2. Under the General section, select the Enable HTTPS.
   
3. In the HTTPS certificate uploaded field, click Upload.
4. Browse to find your HTTPS certificate file, select it and click Open.

5. In the HTTPS private key uploaded field, click Upload.
6. Browse to find your private key file, select it and click Open.

7. In the HTTPS private key passphrase field, type a passphrase, if one exists.
8. Verify that there is a green Yes next to both Upload buttons.

9. Click Apply.

   Any LIVE or ACTIVE streaming will be affected upon restarting the service.

   A confirmation dialog is displayed:

10. Click Restart Now or Restart Later.
